The new General Director of the St Vincentius Hospital (SVZ) from October the 1st, is Jason van Genderen. He was at the Wanica Regional Hospital. He succeeds Michel Blokland, who acted as acting general manager of the hospital after the departure of Manodj Hindori.
Van Genderen worked as general director of the Wanica Regional Hospital until September 30,2022. The board of the foundation is pleased with the appointment of this experienced expert and is confident that this will enable the SVZ to fulfill its task as a health care institution even better. The SVZ strives at all time to offer optimal and complete health care to the population of Suriname.
The foundation board is optimistic about the choice, and hope that Van Genderen will quickly adjust to the immense problems surrounding healthcare in Suriname with colleagues and employees.
