On November 25, three of the four corps of Justice and Police would not take part in the march. This was disclosed by Justice and Police Minister Kenneth Amoksi on Friday during a government press conference.
They are the Assistance and Security Service, the Corps of Penitentiary Officers, and the Fire Brigade. Purchasing the individual standard equipment is difficult, according to Amoksi.
It was decided not to take part in the procession and the parade after consulting with the leaders of forces and the unions. The money released for clothing and other personal items will be spent on typical expenditures.
Amoksi claims that he has been discussing how to use the funds for other urgently required items with his colleague from Finance and Planning. For that, permission has been granted.
