The Honorary Consul of Suriname in Lebanon, Antoine Kareh, paid a working visit to Minister Parmanand Sewdien today. The main topic was Agribusiness in which the diplomat and his support team showed interest. The minister explained the state of affairs. The common thread in this was the search for foreign investors to be interested in the production of Suriname.
The delegation is familiar with our interior, the potential, the supply and now the concrete demand for investors. There is great interest in offering Surinamese products for sale in Lebanon and vice versa. Working agreements have been made between the minister and the diplomat, which will bear fruit in the future.
