The board of the Seventh-day Adventists also participated in the preliminary talks on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, in order to arrive at a structured national dialogue. Among other things, there was a plea for intensification of the community work with which this religious organization is engaged, through support from the government. An attempt is made to guide the youth and to point out values and norms as well as to prepare them to be self-reliant.
This organization has also taken on supporting parents in the challenges they face. President Santokhi was pleasantly surprised with the activities developed by the Seven Days Adventists and indicated in which areas he can support. He also asked for cooperation in jointly carrying out certain actions that the government wants to take. The preliminary conversation ended with a prayer, asking the Almighty for health, wisdom and strength for country and people.
