President Chan Santokhi is in good physical and mental health. Santokhi’s health is not a cause for alarm, according to the Dutch medical professionals. “He is fit and healthy.”
In accordance with the recommendations of the president’s medical staff in Paramaribo, more investigation has been conducted in the Netherlands. It pertained to specialized functional testing that Suriname does not currently offer.
The president expresses his satisfaction with the outcome and thanks his team for their attentiveness. According to the Suriname Communications Service, he is getting ready to go back to Suriname the next weekend.
