Recently, the Ministry of Public Works (OW) made the decision to address vacant lots and structures. In this regard, Public Works dismantled the broken-down and run-down stalls along Martin Luther Kingweg on May 3, 2023.

The Directorate of Public Greenery and Waste Management (OGA) needed a stagnant area to mow because the abandoned and decaying stalls created for a terrible aesthetic. The media was informed beforehand before OW went on to remove it. Then came the chance for the stall owners to register, but nobody did.

Other people who sell along the road are invited to contact their district commissioner, after which they will receive guidelines on how to properly maintain their stalls through the Department of Building and Housing Supervision.
