President Chan Santokhi said during the celebration of the Moon Festival that “they deserve more appreciation”. He indicated that without entrepreneurs, the economy cannot run. That’s how important they are and that’s why they should get all the support. We also need to continuously work on an entrepreneur-friendly climate.
The president applauds that entrepreneurs dare to do business despite the crisis. He noted that this party is widely known in Suriname’s ‘bromtji djari’ and has become indispensable. This most cheerful holiday is certainly well known by Surinamese.
President Santokhi paid particular attention to harmony and unity and that we may work together even more for prosperity and well-being.
