Soedeschand Jairam, the director of agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries (LVV), has been released from duty. The Ministry of LVV has made this announcement. “Soedeshchand Jairam, a former director of agriculture for the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries, will reach retirement age in October 2023 at the age of 60. He has been freed of that duty as of July 1st, and Jitendra Kalloe has taken his place. Jairam receives a dispensation, allowing him to continue working but in a different capacity. He is being given the chance to use his leave credits in the interim, according to LVV.
Rumors are circulating that Jairam has been exonerated for political reasons. Jairam could not be reached for comment.
