Minister Riad Nurmohamed of Public Weeks (OW) claims that the housing project in Reeberg was not moved further for a number of reasons. He added that the project had received funding from the previous administration, but it was never able to get off the ground since the proper land could not be allocated. In the end, land was given out, although that also fell short of the standards.
It’s unfortunate because the project involved a grant from China for the building of 350 dwellings, according to the minister, who also stated that it had been shelved. The project will move on as planned, and the measuring crew is getting to work.
