Ramadan’s month of fasting has ended, and Eid-ul-Fitr is now observed. During Ramadan, our Muslim brothers and sisters made numerous sacrifices. Muslims seek to advance spiritually and strengthen their relationship with Allah during Ramadan. They achieve this through reciting the Qur’an and praying, acting morally and with care for others, and refraining from fighting, lying, and gossiping. Characteristics that we should carry with us as humans.

Togetherness with one’s fellow human beings and introspection are two of the most crucial attributes to be observed on Eid-ul-Fitr, according to the ABOP. We should continue to be one with one another throughout the year, not just right now. All of us will be required to work together to build our nation. No matter who you are, we must accomplish this together. The ABOP is unaware of the concept of racial hatred, hence it is our responsibility as a society to make sure that it is not encouraged by members of our community.

If the Surinamese interest comes first, the ABOP will never stray from the course of conversation. It uses that as one of its basic values. Reflection, which is encouraged during Eid-ul-Fitr, is crucial all year long.

The ABOP extends happy holidays to the entire neighborhood.
