Only Miguel Shaun Choo-Kang and Adele Diane Tricia Cole-Clarke are being appointed as permanent secretaries for the first time out of the eight. Choo-Kang, who now serves as the State Planning Unit’s Head of Regional Planning, will hold the position of Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development.
Cole-Clarke will be the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Legal Affairs. The other six permanent secretaries have been re-assigned to the following Ministries:
• Alfred Roland King as Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister.
• Shannielle Hoosein-Outar as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education.
• Prema Anastasia Roopnarine as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security.
• Bishram Kuppen as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Water.
• Andre Inshan Ally as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
• Mae Thomas-Meerabux as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Labour
